Default first c@r purchase: m91

Picked up a hex m91 from aim...first purchase with the license.

What arrived was a 1925 ex-dragoon in a late war stock.

Anyone ever see that before?

You know there are several flavors of M91... Next time you might want to consider adding Mosin Nagant to the title.

And yes, those hex ones do show up occasionally either converted to M91/30 standards, or with M91/30 bits and pieces tacked on to them. Part of this was an attempt to bring older rifles up to the (then) current standard. Part of it was armorers trying to get anything that could shoot back into battle as soon as possible. So you will get some professional looking conversions, and some that look slapped together. Oh, and good job on getting the C&R. (: Don't forget to send a copy in to Midway, Grafs, and Numrich so that you get your dealer discount.

Whenever the rifle was converted from a Dragoon to a 91/30, the orignal stock was replaced with one off the parts pile.

Pictures attached. Forgot to take one of the bolt, but the number matches.

Seems like a nice rifle. Stock is in pretty good shape.
