Default What will you pay for an EOTech 553 in black that is second hand?

Just want to see what people will pay for a second hand 553 or even a new one. I've purchased several 553's in the past and they were all second hand but in like new condition and I've always paid $375 to $475 for one. I just don't understand why someone will b pay full price for something that losses 30%-40% of its value when you buy it at full price.

I would pay more than it costs for a new one.

I bought one of the Law Guns ones for $340. Those were kind of beat tho. Also, a while back, I sold one in good shape for $475.

Personally, the most I'd pay for a 553 is $400. Any more than that and I'd rather have an EXPS model.

I believe L4D is just making a reference to the folks selling their used gear for retail or more than retail in the market place.

For me used gears that are commonly available would have to be at 80% of retail for me to buy it, otherwise there just isn't enough saving justify it.

With the .Mil used ones hitting the market, I would not buy used unless the seller had all of the original paperwork and box.

You can take one that has been beat to hell, has been turned on for a decade, hit it with cerakote and it looks almost like new.

Agree, 80% maximum unless they are scarce.

I wouldn't buy that model period. I would rather take my chances on the XPS series. I paid $375 for a NIB EXPS2 a couple of months ago. I regularly see the XPS2 and EXPS2 going for around $400 on average.
