best I can do..

'42 Navy Victory [aka model 10 / M&P]

all numbers matching; butt, grip, barrel, cylinder, extractor, and lettered..

I do occasionally take it to the range for a cylinder or two.. great big freedom smile every time

recently picked up Crimson Trace Lightguard... for full size M&P 45 with CT laser grips... Absolutely LOVE IT!

I've had the laser grips for quite a while... and previously used an Insight WX150, which is a really great rail mounted light - and is a great setup when used as a nightstand gun... but a couple years ago I started using bedside holster and gun wouldn't fit with the rail mounted light... I decided holster access was more important to me than the light for immediate need, and I kept the light in nightstand drawer (for times of need)...

Anyway - the CT LightGuard solves everything! CT Laser grips and LightGuard fits fine in bedside holster and works flawless... I highly recommend the combo! I normally don't overly hype stuff - but I'm really impressed and love the setup.

Sorry, no pics right now - but will later if requested.

Just ordered a 9mm Shield on Thursday. Should be in next week to start its sentence in jail.

It's been a while since the old S&W has seen daylight... it's actually a "Regulation Police", but very similar to the M&P.

My mistake

Here it is anyway...

MG is also testing the .40 variant now and should be coming out with them soon.

Bone stock so no point in showing it off.

I stole my wife's wood burning kit and I attempted my first ever stipple job last night and finished this morning. I got my practice in on the small backstrap using an ultra fine tip. Came out like velcro. Since I use the medium backstrap I gotta do it all over again. Eventually I'll do the front strap when I figure everything out and get better and buy better tips. The frame itself is harder plastic so it's not as easy as the backstrap.

Here's a close up. I basically just tapped and stabbed it a million times in the same spot, not making individual holes but like a cluster of them. Kinda like a tattoo machine with a single needle. Came out better then expected.

This place sells some better gun specific stippling products. I may get the 20lpi tip, it does more surface area at a time. And a lot of the top stippling company's you can tell they use a tip that's larger.

I really like your texture you got with that super fine tip. Just ordered an assortment of tips for my Hakko soldering iron but figured I'd go insane with such a small tip for hours on end. Nice work for your first time.
