Default Dean Safe and Liberty Safe in Simi Valley. Anyone use them?

Hello,

Looking for a new safe and saw these two businesses in the County. Does anyone have any experience with them? Good, bad or indifferent?

Dean Safe
Liberty Safe

Thanks,

RM

Not to hijack the post, but I'm looking at getting a safe ASAP ... do they have good prices, especially including the fact that I really need the thing delivered and placed in my home in central LA?

I was also considering Costco.

Quick update...

Made a purchase today from Dean Safe. (Liberty Safe is Dean Safe same business address) Got me a Liberty Safe. Great service, a very knowledgeable lady helped us out. Lots of different brands and models to look at. I'll post an update once it's delivered and installed.

FYI, they are having a parking lot sale Saturday Dec. 1st.

Do you they have any smaller/lighter weight safes (for rifles)? (as in not 500lbs and doesn't cost $500)

Reason I ask, I'm looking into getting a safe but I live in a 2nd floor apartment and it's just too difficult to get a safe up the stairs, plus I can't bolt it down and I don't want to haul it when I move again.

So far those Stack-On "safes" seem the only logical option, but I'm looking to see what else is available.

Something like THIS? I'd suggest to give them a call. Mary was the lady that helped me out. If you do mention you got their info from CalGuns. :-)

Yeah, that might work. It's a little bit expensive and small, but very cool.

I might be in Simi later today, if I am, I'll try and stop by and check 'em out. I'll be sure to mention you/Calguns.

Dean has a full lineup from lockers, to RSCs to real safes and everything in between. Nothing beats a little hands on experience to feel the difference between the $500 big-box retail "safe" and a $2000 box full of piece-of-mind.

Did anyone else notice the links in the OP share the same Simi Valley addres?
