Broke my Buckmark site today!
Well It didn't really brake. The pin on the front of the rear site popped off whilst shooting today at Angeles. I was hitting the irons good too! What a pisser!
Any other buckmark owners had this happen to them? I have about 2000 rounds + or - a few. |

anything mechanical unless threadlocked, welded or pinned is going to eventually get loose
Sorry to hear about your bad luck I would suggest putting a little bit of clear nail polish on the threads when reattaching its a very low strength locker

I was sighting my irons in on the first day I took it out. I thought I dialed in pretty good. Then after a couple of mags, I had to re-adjust my rear sight again. When I finally got home to clean it, I finally noticed the wobble on the rail and the rear screw was halfway out. It's definitely something to keep an eye on on our Buckmarks. Even with the nail polish idea, I'd still check every so often. Might stick longer. But I wouldn't know for how long. I still love my Buckmark though.
