Default Benjamin Pump Pellet Pistol?

I have been looking for a Benjamin Pump pellet pistol for my son and it seems they are no longer in production, I had one back when I was younger and love it. What happened to them?

Crosman bought them in '92, but I think production stopped before that.

You might be able to find one on Gunbroker.

I have seen several of the older versions, mainly interested in the HB22, HB17 or Sheridan .20 Cal. I am afraid of the older ones not being able to hold air.

I don't think they make the older wood versions any more. I bought a HB22 about 5-6 years ago that was factory new. I noticed several years later that I no longer saw them advertised. I was planning on getting the HB17 but I guess that is not going to happen. You can probably find one on Gun Broker and I understand that they can be rebuilt fairly easily so used should not be a huge issue. They still make the wood/metal rifles which may work for you.

The transition from Benji/Sheridan to Crosman was going on during that time. So you may have luck search for Crosman H9A they are the HBxx series just stamped with the Crosman ID. So this may help on your searching on various classifieds. Even your local CL

If you find an older one, Mac-1 can probably refurb it with new seals. He does do work on them

It doesn't matter they are all easy to rebuild. If you don't wanna deal with the wait time with Mac1 hit me up. Have rebuilt many Dans, Benjis, and Crosman air guns.
