Default Lost Coast boondocking spots?

Was thinking about heading up there for Thanksgiving, Thurs - Sat. Just me and the GF, and the two dogs in the two-wheel drive lifted van.

Found only limited info online that mentions pullouts on Mattole Road south of Durr Creek which sounds less than ideal.

Anyone wanna give up their secret spot?

Park at the ocean terminus of the Mattole River. Hike the beach south towards Shelter Cove. About half way there, there is a large meadow, perfect camping. Bring tide tables for the hike, and either plan to hike back or go on to Shelter Cove and buy a ride back. You will likely have all 25 miles of coast to yourself.

^ Looking for somewhere where we can sleep in the RV...the GF is a big fan of the furnace.

Been a few motorcycle trips up and down the northern cost and noticed many RV's just park in the the larger pull outs and beach access parking lots.

Don't know if it is legal to camp.
