Tried calling today(I know he is closed)
No answer but no message for days and times open.
I guess I'll try calling Wednesday the next day he is open according to the website.

I was there on Saturday. It's true. I was sorry to hear the news, Ron has been my go to for transfers. His store always had the most welcoming atmosphere, especially for new shooters.

No, he didn't go into detail. He did say to let people know he is still happy to place orders for guns he doesn't have in stock. As for the inventory on hand, all of the non-consignment guns had sale stickers on them. I picked up a Shield for $389.

Was just in doing a transfer. I wondered why his inventory was getting so low.

Bummer he was a great dealer. Now have to find another FFL.

Yes, he's been closed for the holidays and will reopen Jan 2. I saw the sign on Saturday. Per my brother who has a gun on consignment, he is closing in Feb, but I cant remember if it is Feb 1 or the end of the month.

What a shame. One of the best shops in the metro Sacramento area. Ron was always fair with prices and service.

I have been trying to get a hold of him for a couple months after leaving the state but havent been getting replies. I hope he is OK, its sad to hear, but I know the stress over the last several months was hard on him.

I just saw a thread on Turners having a Sac store now. Probably not good for the local good guy FFL's, they are already cutting margins so low.

I don't know that he's set a specific date, but it will probably be closer to mid-February.

I picked up a couple of guns there and it was not fun seeing the shop like that.

I wish Ron all the best and I hope he has more free time to go to the range and enjoy the hobby he loves now.

My ffl just does transfers now.
No more gun shows either.
