Looks b!tchin. I recently put an ACOG on mine, but I won't be selling my carry handle

What kind of handguard is that?

Thanks. Yea, i have always looked at the carry handle like the symbol of the AR so i wanted one real bad. Kind of like the mag on an AK. Just doesn't look complete without it.

They are just some cheap 40 dollar imported carbine length quad rails. I couldn't afford the more expensive ones but i plan on just running a vertical grip on it and i was told it'd be fine for that.

Yeah, I feel the same way, so it was hard to remove it even though I was putting a great optic on there. I almost want another upper just so I can use it.

The handguard looks nice - A lot like the genuine KAC article. Is it nice and tight on there?

Yea but at least you have a nice ACOG on it!

Its nice and sturdy, i took it to the range and it didn't loosen up or anything. I'm not sure about the other ones but this one is held together not only by the delta ring and front end cap but also by 4 screws so it doesn't budge at all. Decent product for the price.

Because it is. It's a rebuild kit and i like how the 30rd mag looks on an AR but since assembling it is illegal, i just take everything apart and leave the empty mag for the picture.

It is pretty exciting

Hmm.. I've been looking for a nice rail that resembles the KAC RAS for mine. What brand is that?

It didn't state the brand name on the box but this is the one i got. From what i've read about it, vertical grips, lights, and all that are fine with it but flip up sights might not. I don't plan on changing my front sight posts so it's fine with me. Can't beat the price though as compared to a 130 one. I can barely afford ammo so 130 for me was WAY too much, 40 was perfect! And i love it!

Just got my lower receiver laser engraved. Didn't think they deserved their own thread, so I'm gonna put the pics of the engraving in here.
Here's a link to the parts list and other photos of my gun (or you could just scroll to the top of this page, lol): http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...&postcount=361

Looks to be a Daniel Defense Omega rail. A drop-in replacement for standard handguards that is also free floating.
