Default StrikeFire or Bushnell Trophy MP

Which would you pick? I like the reticle on the Bushnell trophy MP, but have read that its often at a cant of several degrees off spirit. I like the strike fire as well. I think I have heard that both kinda cut down on FOV as the insides of the tubes are smaller than the objective lens. Anyone have hands on experience with both? I know the strike fire does have a doubler and is cheaper... but given the choice which would you choose?

I went with the Bushnell because opticsplanet currently has open box demo units on sale for $125 (my reticle was fine) - I also have a TruGlo 30mm 2x that I paid about the same for and much prefer look and feel of the Bushnell, but the TruGlo has never given me any issues either.

A lot of disappointment on arf.com over the Strikefire. Seems there's a reflection inside the tube that is visible during use. The magnifier is also being viewed as worthless. I was going to get one until the poor reviews started coming in.

The FOV on the Bushnell Trophy is definately smaller than the Strikefire, and when you tried my Strikefire out it wasnt small right? And the reflection on mine isnt too bad either. Though I do wish i could have that MP reticle in my strikefire

I have a bushnell trophy for sale. I have not shot with it but it is a solid scope. If i did not need the money i would keep it to mount to another rifle.

I just came back from the range - I love the Trophy's T-dot reticle. Much preferable over a simple center dot. I had a great experience with the scope and I was significantly more accurate with it than with my TruGlo. Sighting it in took only 12 rounds and the adjustment clicks were solid and moved the reticle as advertised. On an unrelated note the Trophy is a great match for the Marlin 336 - it sits at a good height and far back enough that it doesn't screw with the balance. It also has a good field of view with no magnification which suits the .30-30 well.

Not my picture...
