Nice write up. I'll have to look into those to see what they cost.

Nothing new on my NFA front. Waiting for the feds to get going as I have 3 suppressors pending at about 8 months. The Trust version of the eform is starting to piss me off as they are getting done in 3 months.

I take that back. I did get a piston for the Osprey 45 I am waiting for so I can put it on a metric threaded barrel.

Thanks.

I really want an OSS can, but I'm waiting on their 30cal.
I've been waiting for them to actually put a can out for like 5 years now.

This is one of the funnest guns I have to shoot. It's a registered SBR lower with a .22lr pistol upper. It has a 4" barrel to keep bulk ammo subsonic and on the end of the barrel is a Gemtech .22LR G5-22 can. There is zero recoil so you can run rounds through it very quickly while on target.

Last can I bought was the awc MK9K for my miniUzi. I have the Tac65 and 16 as well. The tac65 is a k baffle design and is as quiet as the awc amphibian I have access to.

I was thinking about adding a new can to the mix, possibly a Ops-inc for a SPR I want, is the AAC line up there in technology with the ops inc ones? The problem with the tac16 is point of aim/impact but it's a crude design, just washer stack really. The other issue is having a can that only works on a certain platform like my uzi can, it's stuck on the uzi...unless I have M60 joe rig up a 9mm upper with the uzi adapter.

I'm on the iPhone so sorry about grammar and run on sentences

That looks like a lot of fun. Can you do a parts list so I can make one up.

Taccom pistol upper on a registered lower with a ALG ACT trigger in it. Suppressor is a Gemtech G5-22 which is a larger .22lr suppressor meant to mimic the look of a centerfire suppressor. Per Taccom hand tighten the quick mount with a bit of blue Loctite on it.

Forearm is a the Hogue tube that came off of the Tactical Solutions upper I bought at about the same time. If you want to shoot it without the suppressor, you can unthread the tube and just leave the barrel nut with the barrel exposed. Or shoot it with the tube as no hot gases get to the hand.

It's ok. I'm not super picky on my triggers. I think it is a nice step up from a stock lpk. I do put JP yellow trigger springs on them. I tried a yellow hammer spring but I was getting light primer strikes. I have a couple more Gieselle triggers on the way so an ssa-e might find its way into the lower. The trick is finding a trigger that will work with many uppers so it is easy to switch sbr uppers around.

That's why. Though I did check nfa tracker and times are coming down. They do have a long way to go though and I don't know if they will get down to 2012 levels.

Default Iron sights with a suppressor

Suppressing the M14 EBR while retaining the
original sight radius using Smith Enterprise parts:
M14 Castle Nut Adaptor # 2002 & DC Vortex # 1000V.
Castle nut style M14 Vortex shown for comparison.
The sound suppressor is a .30 caliber Wind Talker, also from SEI.

SBR: Check.
Suppressed: Check.
Select-fire: Check.

A mostly spare parts gun:

This one is kinda special, kinda not.

On the fence about swapping out the RIS for a lighter handguard. Added a Fortis RAP and swapped out the MOE stock for an STR then added an MBUS Pro BUIS set. Too lazy to get it out of the same and re-shoot pictures.

Three of NFA stamps that are in my Florida Trust. Man, I hate California!! Yes, the Block II is an SBR stamp for a 14.5 " barrel. Why did I do it? Because I could! I got two 10.5" lowers, so I wanted something new.

This thread makes me jealous and confused at the same time haha.

Those of you with trusts, are you actually firing these weapons within CA? Or are they strictly for out of state?

My first SBR. Palmetto State Armory upper, lower and lower parts kit including buffer tube, buffer and spring. Magpul rear flip up sight and Magpul stock.

It took 149 days for approval.

Next up:

1) Suppressor
2) SBS

149 days isn't bad. I hadn't been watching NFA tracker as I don't have anything pending, but the graph is falling like a rock. I think it's time to do a couple more lowers.
