Default Dipped Rubber AR-15 Pistol Buffer Covers - 3 Sizes - Tougher than Foam

The dipped rubber cover is a material that looks like foam but is actually randomly textured rubber. It is closed on one end. This end can be opened up by the customer as desired, using a razor knife. The 10" cover is longer than any of our tubes and will need to be trimmed to fit. You'd choose the big 10-inch cover if you want an all-over full length covering for your pistol buffer tube. 10" cover is too thick to allow operation of standard AR-15 charging handle and is recommended for use with side-charging uppers only.

These covers fit the Fluted, Wide Knurled and Fat tubes. Will NOT fit the Skinny Tube and the Long Skinny Tube. Great for use on your AR-15 pistol or your Hammerhead CA-Legal featureless rifle.

Comparison of 10", 6", and 5-inch covers. That's a Spike's Tactical "Fat" pistol buffer tube for size comparison. You could use the 5 and 6 inch lengths as is. 6" cover shown installed on a Spike's Tactical "Fat" tube. Click the image to go to our online store where you can see these covers and others.

Our 6" slim rubber cover will fit. You'll have to cut the closed end off with a razor knife first.

Will this work on the fluted and knurled Rock River Arms pistol buffer tube? I've heard they tear up the foam covers.

The FAT dipped rubber covers fit the thicker tubes including the Spike's Fat tube, the RRA fluted tube, and the Quentin Laser Wide Knurled tubes. Be sure to order the FAT rubber covers. The slim rubber covers won't fit those thicker tubes. Foam covers are more easily torn, because they're a sponge foam. These rubber covers are not foam so they're more durable and harder to tear up. Easier to clean too.
