Default Gunsmith in North County

I have shot guns for a while but I am a newb as far as owning my own. I just got my Springfield XD .40 service model and want to change the sights I ordered the trijicon HD sights with the orange front and need to have them installed. I saw there is a tool you can buy and do it yourself but I don't want to mess it up so for those of you in or close to North County can you recommend a good gun smith? Or are sights easy to install and I should be fine taking them anywhere?

Duncan's in San Marcos is pretty popular. My understanding is they are usually backed up with work and can take a few weeks to get your gun back. Might be worth a call for an estimate. Here's their URL: http://www.duncansgunworks.com/#2913

Try the Orange County Gunsmith (http://www.ocgunsmith.com/) at Ade's Gun Shop in Orange. Most times, when he is not busy or back-logged in work, he can do easy sight jobs while you wait. Give him a call: (949) 306-2028.
