Heres my kimber custom II done in titanium blue and armorers black. Pretty much stock just added the archangel mag well aluminum grips and Wilson combat buffer. Every single part if this gun is cerakoted including barrel and spring guide rod. Thing still shoots dead accurate

I like that LB, when I was reading the discription I was thinking I don't know about this "blue". But then when I saw the pic, man it just works well the black and blue combo, well done.

That looks classy.

When you say every part is cerakoted....what about the internals? Like did you also cerakote the mainspring and whatnot?

That is the second CDP-Pro I have seen "bobed", makes a almost perfect carry 1911 pretty much perfect. Great carry gun.

Custom II.

I'm debating on taking it to oc custom coating and having it cerakoted and internals microslicked. (They have a 1911 package) Then adding better sights/night sights and vz grips.

Runs flawless til I hit the 500/600 rnd mark (or when the chamber is just plain really dirty) and it starts to fte/ftf. Clean it, then it runs fine again.

Also has anyone ditched the Swartz saftey kimber uses? (Everyone seems to be against it due to added unnessary parts)

Desert warrior.
Tan x300u
Vz operator II's. Color: Marsoc. I had a hell of a time finding a grip color that looked good. Saw that color and took a gamble. Literally matches spot on. Nobody ever posts what color the grips are so it was hard picking.
Front strap: 3m rubberized walk safe (same as what vz sells) but cheaper if you buy it at your local hardware store.

Love that Limited Edition

Here is mine, a Custom II with night sites. Had it a few months and have a few hundred rounds through it now and running sweet.

Only change is the RAASCO grips on it (dymondwood cocobolo)
