Default Building up stripped lowers and uppers

Hey guys,

Newbie Mike here and I apologize in advance if this has been rehashed already although I've been fishing around and have not seen many threads with answers for me.

I'm expecting a matched 308 stripped upper and lower set and wanted some expertise on building them up. Are all the lower parts the same as a 223 kit? What about the upper parts 308 vs. 223? Obviously the barrels but what about the BCG? And it seems that AR10 parts and mags will not work with the DPMS-type receivers?

I'm in no hurry so hopefully in a few months the frenzy will calm down and suppliers will start to get stocked up again.

This is a great forum and I hope to learn a lot from all of the experience on here!
