Default National CCW Reciprocity Question

Does the proposed CCW reciprocity bill, as it is now written, and up for a vote, allow holders of non-California CCW's allow us to carry concealed in CA without a CA CCW?

There are many of us that cannot get a CCW due to the May Issue.

Thanks, Bob.

Nothing is final until it get's to the president's desk.

The House is on-track to vote today, and Senate still needs to do their part, then the bills go to conference to remedy the discrepancies between the two. This is when everyone will know what is included in the bill or not included in the bill and the exact wording.

At that point, the wording will be "final" for the president's signature, if he signs.

Then it becomes law.

The answer to your question is: Don't worry about it until the Senate passes a bill and the two go for conference. Anything before that and you're counting chickens before they hatch.

I remember watching the house pass a similar bill in 2012, then came nothing.

as it stands, yes, but you still must comply with california gun restrictions, meaning you can't come here with mags over 10rds capacity etc...

at least that's how i took it so far.
