Yes, from what I understand it's stamped LC LR. It's specific to the military precision rifles... M118LR.

What I wonder is if it's any different from regular LC brass outside of the stamp.

LC LR brass is different than the normal LC brass. More consistent than the LC variety. Prices, when available, is about $.30 vs $.18 for the LC.

LC match and LC LR are some of the best out there from what I hear and see on the forums. I use only LC match from my jp and have had no problems with it besides it's a little tougher to resize than FC and Winchester brass.

To to OP, it's been around once in a while.

Check here occasionally. It's OOS right now though.

The primer pocket is not crimped. The military does not shoot through machine guns, only bolt guns with tighter chambers. Much prefered for reloading. Out of stock at places I'm aware. Expecting back in stock soon.

I find pulls to be a pain and prefer not to use them.

Bought them a couple of times. I've had them delivered short and could not use about 20% due to length. When buying, it is why the bullets were pulled.

The sealer left in the neck is a hassle and a mess adding another step in the process. Then there's the primers. For me, I just resize and pressed new primers in.

Once fired is a better option for me when I can find them in stock.

i'll report back. If all is a good, I'll supply contact information.

I bought a few hundred a few months ago so it's out there. Definitely worth it to know that it was never shot out of a burst/full auto/minigun. My 308 semi-auto use LC, my bolt actions uses LR.

I have a stash of once-fired LC NM cases donated by the Army NG from my days on the shooting team. These are from the "good old days" when micro-managing didn't exist. I get about five loadings per case before the dreaded 'white line' shows up around the case head...then they get moved to the scrap bucket with full military honors.

Thought I should mention, I deprimed and wet tumbled 500 pieces of LC LR and then sorted by weight. 490 out of 500 came within 2.5 grains of each other. In terms of pure weight, this stuff is as consistent as my Lapua!

I noticed the same thing. I didn't weigh all of them, but out of the 10 or so I did weigh the range was 177.9 - 180.2. Not too shabby.

I also weighed some FC brass and was pleasantly surprised. The range was from 176.6 - 177.2. That was from about 10 cases all about 5x fired.

How many loadings do you guys get on avg with the LC LR or LC Match brass? Not super hot loads, but just run of the mill.

I have a few hundred cases that I've hoarded away. I can part with some.

Once fired. Lightly tumbled.

Since this is not the seller's forum, I'll let you pm me with an offer.
