Default Kowa Scope?

Kowa scope any good?
TSN-82SV with 25X LER Eyepiece. Okay for $575?
Figured that those in this forum would know best.
Thanks!

Dude! That's a steal, since the body value is almost $700 alone. Us competitive shooters prefer the 25X LER since you don't have to get your eyeball right on the ocular while wearing safety glasses. Easy to tilt your head while in position to check the score or mirage before sending the next round.

The only upgrades one could recommend are a good scope cover and an 80-ish millimeter camera UV filter for the objective to protect everything. Call Creedmoor to order in other colors or camo:

In good condition. YES! The eyepiece alone is $200 used $400 new.

If you don't already have one, invest in a good tripod, new or used.

Thanks for the confirmations. It comes with a Creedmore protective cover. Bummer is that it does have some ID number etched on the body, but that doesn't bother me. It's not giant.

The one listed in the marketplace.... yeah, I saw that yesterday, and would have snatched it up if I didn't already have one.

I'm surprised it is still up for sale. I thought it would have gotten grabbed up by now.
