Default Atmospherics question, what kestrel to settle on

I can access lost of info on my phone...except where a lot of LR shooting takes place, which is typically a no reception area.

I picked up a base kestrel for a song. It only gives wind and temp. I'd like to get humidity and pressure to record as well.

Kestrel makes a model for every need. My problem is I'm not clear on what I need.

I recognize the wind feature isn't really that useful, as it's at the line rather than near the targets. So this really is only a thermometer and a rough wind guide.

What kind of atmospherics am I looking for, and can anyone recommend a model that only does what I need?

Kestral 2500 or 3500 will work

If you have the cash get the 5700 elite with AB $599 real time info and ballistics on the device or to your phone

If you wanted to upgrade down the road but don't need the blue tooth to link to you phone. the kestral 5000 is a solid base unit less the AB app and bluetooth and it's $250 or less. it spits out Density Altitude. you just have to manually update you phone app.
