I doubt you will see it until next week. Best thing to do is check your account on E-Store and follow progress there

Maybe even sooner. My card was hit and I had my rifle three days later. CMP has been processing orders much quicker lately. I received my rifle 68 days from when I dropped the paperwork in the mail

Looking at their site, they are sold out and not accepting orders on the HRA field grades. Unless that is what you are truly wanting, you should contact them and change your order to an SA field grade or HRA service grade.

Just checked the estore and the status shows as processing as opposed to open. Funny thing is, I'm still waiting on enblocs from a previous order and that shows still as open status. Low on enblocs maybe? And the more I think about it, maybe it's a curse that I might be getting my garand soon...it might be beat to hell, bottom of the barrel since it's a field grade.

Got my SG HRA in and could not resist stripping it down so couldn't get a good pic of it but just look at that GI stock. Really like those character marks.

Muzzle reading 1
Throat reading 3

Some pitting on the sights and park job is kinda rough but just gives it a bit more character.

lol thanks. I recieved a Springfield SG back in early 2012 that came with the CMP stock and some very nice looking reparked parts, but this stock just feels so much better. I'd consider steaming out some of the bumps and knicks but feels like it just goes with it. Already submitted a FG Springfield order in a few weeks back, hoping they'll throw in another USGI stock.

Any advice on removing the buttstock plate? I've successfully gotten the screws out but that plate is just stuck on there, the only thing I've had trouble with so far.

Looks like they have the field grade springfields listed as out of stock again. Glad I got my order in during that little window.

Default NOTAM: CMP U.S. RIFLE CAL. .30 M1

To the Soviet Province of Kaliforniastan:

The current shipping backlog on CMP rifles is rapidly approaching, if not eclipsing, the probable delivery date that would push past the 01JAN14 deadline for C&R home delivery and require FFL/DROS/Sales Tax.

From seeing some of the HRA SG some have gotten lately, I am not real hopeful about the condition of mine. If it wasn't 2400 miles to the north store I would drive there.

Not hopeful? Some of the sg's like enfield47 look great. If mine looks half like that I'll be cartwheeling.

Mine looked excellent! I wouldn't be too worried at all. Most have been coming with USGI wood and it looks superb.

I hope yours is a good one.
A friend I shoot with got me interested in the Garands
He has had a few SA SG he got a couple of years ago and got a couple HRA SG about 3 months ago( I was shocked how nice they all were), and just received 5 more HRA SG about a week ago( these were not very nice). Damage, pitting. They were still shootable and within CMP grading for SG, just not nearly as nice as they first ones he bought.

EDIT: The CMP site says GOOD to VERY GOOD for a service grade and none of the 5 he just received would I consider good( mistake)?. I think they may be rushing to fill orders and not finding alot of service grades in the crates. I will try and get some pictures.

Yeh , yours is really nice.
I will be happy if mine does not have a lot of pitting and shoots well.

It depends on how many people are ahead of you for that grade/type and how many are graded or made up. People are getting field grades very quickly, but HRA service grades are backed up. Go to the CMP forum and see if there is a timeline for your particular rifle.

Cant use drivers license , passport or copy of birth cert.
Blank out all birth cert info except name and state of birth. To easy for someone to get all your info and order your birth cert. I also did not give my SS number.

Judging by the lack of HRA SG's people have been updating, Looks like there's been a big bottleneck.
And I just want one!

Recieved 4/15
DBU 4/23
Estore 7/2
Order # 4679xx
