Default CA Legal Sage EBR M14 Stock

Originally I had the Sage EBR stock on my M14 with the pistol grip and bullet button. I really hated the bullet button.

I got this from Sage, it's the Magpul 870 stock conversion kit. I love it. Goodbye bullet button...hello standard capacity magazines again!

How do you use a scope with that setup?

I'll need a cheek riser before heading out to shoot it. Right now I'm looking around for which one I want to use. It should be fine after that. Magpul makes one for that stock so I might try that first.

hows the stock comb height if you were to shoot using iron sights? Would it still need a riser?

Whatever you put on the stock to be able to see anything can only make it look worse. BUT, you are without the bullet button so ALRIGHT!!

Here it is in the final setup. I went with the Magpul riser and changed the mount to a lower one from Sage. Works fine for me.

I think the rifle looks awesome...but I guess it's not for everyone.

I didnt think so, I had an Aimpoint Micro on it first. I thought it was fine. Magpul makes smaller risers too if you needed it to be a little higher.

It does look great. I still prefer the look of the pistol grip EBR but this is california. I'd hate to have a bullet button on my M1A as well

Nice rifle, looks excellent! I love the setup but the grip angle looks incorrect. The distance from the grip to the trigger is extended much further than the pistol grip counterpart, or the factory Springfield Armory type stock. Do you have any issues with the grip being uncomfortable or hard to grip properly?

I like it with the magpul stock!

For a quality riser I absolutely love the bradley ajustable from bradleycheekrest.com .. $120 but superior to anything I've ever used...
