Default 7.62x39/300 Blk PA ACSS scopes (ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!)

They are here!!!! Grab them while they last!!!
Dimitri

Primary Arms ACSS 7.62x39/300BLK 1-6x

ETA MARCH/APRIL 2014

Order here
https://www.primaryarms.com/Primary-...a1-6xakser.htm

Here is sneak pic of the reticle and the Prototype testing.
It was just as fast as any red dot at 1x and at 6x I could hit all the way to 500 yards and easy!
Using 7.62x39 Golden Tiger for this test. MythBusting AK accuracy! AK's are more accurate then given credit for!!

For 300Blk 110gr at 2400 its dead on! We will be putting out info on BDC for various 110gr and your drop for subsonic.

This reticle is a giant leap forward for 7.62x39 and 300BLK

What's the estimated price and what side rail did you use for testing?

Very interested in these. I have an x39 AR-15 and several SKS rifles that this might be suited for. Awesome news.

Yes it will be dead on with Sks when zero is established at 100 yards instead of 50 yards like an AK47. What is the barrel length of your AR?

Fantastic!

The AR is a 16" barrel - carbine gas system.

I'll move to HM Limited to make room for you.

Dimitri, will there be an Optisan model with better glass in the future?

Soon I hope, have you seen the demo of the 5.56mm version? Our videos are real time of us shooting. All we do is dial in at 0 range and the BDC does all the work we do our part calling the wind.
I dialed it in at 50 yards and started at 400 and 500 yards! I was surprised how easy it was to hit 500! AK's and the 7.62x39 are more accurate then we have been told.

When and how much with the MI side mount?

Please don't ruin your reputation by lumping in with UTG products.

MI mount looks prettier, but UTG side mounts hold zero just fine. Dimitri knows what he's talking about. You can also buy the UTG Pro model side mount if made in USA is very important to you.

Any side mount that will hold zero will work. As far as the UTG like mentioned it holds zero and works.

not a bad idea. The 7.62x39 is 18" and shoots the Golden Tiger stuff really well.

Yes 5.56 and 7.62x39 ballistics are very different.

I'll be getting one for a .300 BLK and one for a 5.56x45. I signed up for the 5.56 stock email notification, but I don't see where I can do the same for the 7.62 version.

Great reticle. But, what range is the 8.6mph lead calibrated for?

8.6 is the average target speed holding a weapon. Effective 50-300 yards. And more if you just lead a bit more.

As long as you get a good zero and do your part it will surprise you!!
AK irons are to blame for lack of accuracy in the AK platform. The rear and front sight are way to close, there is no windage adjustments and plain hard to aim with but still effective out to 300
I like having the ACSS on 1-6 side saddle with QD mount. I found it to be just as fast as any red dot but still be able to control a large area out to 500 yards.

Thinking of mounting this on one of those Texas weapon systems rails. I just need to factor in weight. It would be easier if I had a side rail on my ak.

I believe its about 100 days out.
Around $250
5.45 scope is due next month
Its on our site under PA scopes
1-6x compatible with 5.56-5.45-308
The instructions tell you how to zero depending on gun and altitude. 7n6 is dead on out to 800 and what I shoot the most. The magnification is 1-6x at 1x its like a red dot at 6x its a scope.

I have never tested that mount. As long as it holds zero it should work just fine.

I would think the TWS dogleg is lighter since it replaces the original dust cover. With a side mount you are adding weight to it. Midwest Industry mount is 9oz which is half a pound. Once you add the scope you are adding 1.5 lbs to the rifle.

It didn't feel heavy at all. I had to send it away for a cattail to be made for it and miss it like crazy I am taking off my Ultimak and micro once I get it back. At 1x its as fast as any dot and at 6x nothing is safe 500 yards out! To me thats huge!
