Default Project Appleseed upcoming Sept events

Hey All!

Project Appleseed, Sept 8-9 Sacramento Valley Shooting Center.
Project Appleseed, Sept 15-16 Tehama Shooters Association. (Please note that due the the extremely dry conditions we are not able to use center fire rifles after 10am, so this will be a .22 only event.)

Project Appleseed is a 2 day Marksmanship clinic that teaches 3 position shooting. It's a great event for almost all ages and experience levels.

Come join us and learn or refresh your shooting skills and hear about the beginnings of the Revolutionary War.

We still have tickets left!!

Don't forget Groupon is still available for Project Appleseed.

If you have questions, let me know!

And yes, it does start with asking if you are a citizen. Here is the reason.

Due to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) a set of United States Government regulations on the export and import of defense- related articles, services, and training; and other applicable state and federal laws, only United States Citizens or Green Card holders are allowed to participate at an Appleseed event.

Thank you and hope to see you on the line.

P.S. I am a Shoot Boss and Instructor with Project Appleseed...Like all instructors, I am a volunteer.

I know I ask this every time, but the website for the Red Bluff/Tehama event says:
"This is 25 meter AND 100-400 yard shooting, so bring your Centerfire rifles and/or 22's and gain valuable marksmanship skills."

Is there going to be 100-400 yard shooting at this event?

I think it is a NO! See the following note in RED.

I have to remember to get that fixed!!

Due to the extreme fire danger we are limiting this to .22 caliber only. The range is on a cattle ranch and we really don't want to set off a fire. The club has shut the range to any long distance shooting until we get some rain.

Hope to see some of you out there.
