Default Change in CA DOJ policy on 1 per 30 day

During the reign of General Harris, she instructed her staff to read beyond the black and white language of the law and only grant exemptions on the 1 handgun purchase per thirty days law, to those purchasing C&R weapons. This was despite the black letter law reading of the statute that said anybody with a C&R FFL and a California C.O.E., is exempt from being limited to one dealer weapon per thirty days. I am here to tell you that the new Acting Attorney General seems to be a fair man. He is actually applying the law. I have obtained my C&R and my COE. I recently had seven dealer weapons backup up for DROSing. I have had my C&R and just got my COE. My FFL agreed to submit the DROS of seven handguns that I was waiting for. DOJ did not get heavy handed and try to interefere. They followed the actual law and honored it. If you want more details, contact me by PM and I'll help you make sure you have you proper credentials ready to present to a willing FFL to honor your rights.

I wonder if you can once again buy a modern handgun and walk out with it that day. I gave up my C&R but kept the COE because together they became useless.

bought too many guns and support "stuff" last year.

Wow.

But that actually wasn't Kamala... it began before Brown when Bill Lockyer issued a memo adding "For C&R handguns" and it became an underground regulation ever since.

Interesting that they cleared it, given that the CGF just filed suit on this practice today.

Nope.

Even C&R+COE never exempted a non-C&R from the 10 day wait.
