Hard to say. The Springfield has sentimental value, but I a soft spot for the Baer. Shooting it is effortless. But if I had to choose one, I'd go with the Springfield.

Cut 10 holes on the slide for looks and weight reduction.
Cut stock front sight and installed fiber optic (heard too much stories about the cuts is on RIA requires a lot of filing, and did t want to deal with it)
Trigger job from 7.5lb to 3.5lb
Honeycomb polymer grips
SS grip screws.

Few things left to do
Magwell
Oversize mag release

I know a guy that had access to the machine, i did the blue print/design/ measurements, and tons of 1911 "experts" for advice since with this type f work one wrong move will destroy the whole project. Just wished i had access to a laser engraver but considering the whole project took 2 weeks after the gun purchase.. I think it came out well. Plus its super accurate, last thin I want is a tricked out gun but cant hit target. Very happy how it came out.
