Default Ammo depot

Anybody buy ammo from ammo depot recently? They said that they just got a shipment with decreased prices and I was wondering how much they are charging a round. I know they are one of the worst shops right now cause they price-gouged with ridiculous prices but they get frequent stock for ammo atleast.

Is it price-gouging for them to offer ammo at the current fair market value? Are they making any additional profit now than they did pre-Covid?

I bought several thousand rounds from them at a reasonable price, but that was months ago. They didn't ration it back then, either.

Personal Experience, Federal 115 grain 9mm, 50 rounds Big 5 = $15.99
Ammo Depot Rancho, same exact thing = $49.99

2 weeks ago, you be the judge, if you want to pay the excessive price then baller, more power to you. I have been getting 50 rounds of 115 grain federals for $15.99. You have to put in the effort to look and maybe stand in line a few hours here and there however eventually you will determine the spots that consistently get the ammo in at fair prices.

I stopped by a couple days ago aftering picking up 9mm at sportsman warehouse for 34 cpr. So-called "reduced pricing" was 60 cpr and 70 cpr for 9mm and 90 cpr for 223.

Much of the price gouging is occurring straight from the suppliers, it's not as if ammo vendors are magically getting it for the same prices of last year.

You can only blame people for market bubbles anyway, if we keep paying it they keep raising it.

Their recent prices are high. Pre Covid, they had great deals on ammo. Who really knows what they have to pay for ammo. But they do seem to get restocked regularly. And they don't place limits like a lot of other stores who only allow you two boxes of any particular caliber. There is usually a waiting line there and since it's a small store, the line goes rather slowly. My philosophy is supply and demand. You are free to choose where you shop. Whenever prices are cheap, buy a lot. Like there's no tomorrow!
