Default 22 conversion for 1911 - what do action shooters recommend?

Posting here instead of the rimfire forum because I would like 1911 conversion recommendations from competition shooters.

In other threads on calguns I saw recommendations for the marvel conversion. Is this what you use for training? How reliable is it for hundreds of rounds per shooting session?

Either the Marvel conversion or the Nelson conversion, both of which were designed by Marvel.

It looks just plain beastly and the extra heft up front does help manage recoil a bit better. Plus, an angel told me that when God called JMB to heaven it was to build him a full rail 1911!

I have one by Kimber. Works well, does not lock back after the last round is fired.

Don't know about the other makes.
