Default Anyone carry pistol/light combo in a pancake?

I'm looking to get a pancake holster for my Sig P226 with Surefire X300 light attatched. I'm looking a the Galco Halo holster or the Aker Nightguard.

Anyone have any experience with these holsters?

For work I have a Sig P226R with Surefire X200 in an Anker Nightguard. Since I like to stay consistant for my personal use I have a Glock 21SF I got a Surefire X200 and Anker Nightguard but went with the Paddle Model.

If you're used to any of the duty holsters that you have to break by rocking it back you'll have to remember these holsters draw by coming straight up. If you cant it at all it'll hang up. Otherwise they're well made and no other issues.

There was a member here posting for a while that was taking orders and getting a break on the pricing even with the shipping. If you're interested I'll see if I can find his name and you can PM him.

I never used the above two holsters. I used a Don Hume model while working non-sam browne assignments (It was a bit too bulky for off duty daily carry) and it worked well except it rode very high, and thus made for a fairly awkward draw.

I have been testing a Safariland ALS paddle holster for the M&P with light and it works very well. It is nice and secure while allowing a very fast draw. It's a little more bulky than the pancake styles so if you're going for concealment it probably won't be ideal.

I have leather holsters and Kydex holsters.

For casual off duty wear, I have a Bravo Concealment Kydex holster made for my S&W MP 9C with Streamlight TLR-3, excellent build quality, retention and very concealable. I have the matching magazine pouches too!

Check out their site.. they have custom made holsters for the P226 w/ X300... turnaround time is a bit of a wait... I waited close to 40 days to get my goodies...

Lately, I've been carrying a "frankenstein" 92FS compact w/TLR-1 in a Kaluban Cloak kydex holster. I was pretty amazed that Eugene was able to make it just from a couple of comparison pictures between that rig and a full-size 92F with an MR-11/TLR-1! It's an open top but it's got a nice balance of "snugness" and "deployability" lol. I am definitely going to be buying from him again...

Samuelx-

92FS Compact? Hmm, my daily lesson. Never seen one! Pretty cool though...

The one on the right. "frankenstein" because it's actually a lower from an M9A1 and an upper from a Compact L - so in essence, it's a Centurion with built in rails. (the original compact L is a 13 round gun - shortened barrel/upper and shortened handle/grip but IMO really doesn't save all that much overall size compared to a full size 92...)
