Default Gen 5 G45 and G17 & G19 MOS

The G45 looks like a black Gen 5 19X with front cocking serrations and no lanyard loop or stupid hump below the frontstrap that prevents all generations of mags from being inserted?

Per Google Translate:
  • "The G45 in 9x19 combines the compact closure of a G19 with the full size grip of a G17, just like the G19X, which was specially developed for military requirements. The G45 impresses with the features of a Gen5 pistol model and the well-proven GLOCK Safe Action System. More information can be found at www.glock.com"

Wonder if the removal of the frontstrap cutout on the MOSís will roll over to the regular Gen 5ís as well?

Looks good to me. I will take one and the G46 when it makes it over here...

Edit:
Just saw the TFBT video on it and I will pass on the 45. Still want the 46 though...

I like it...especially the front cocking serrations. But I’m biased. I like all Glocks.

Lemme know when they decide to put a 19 slide on a 26 grip, that’s what I think is worth it.

“I have a Glock 45 in 9mm” lol. Reminds me of the Glock 40 when that came out and caused some confusion LOL.
Looks good to me though!

Yeah not overly excited about it. On another note I was hoping they would use 45 for a 45 acp handgun.

^^^ What he said. I got no use for a 9MM pistol.

If it ain't a major caliber it just takes too many shots to create the same effect!

Lame. They are running out of ideas and grasping for straws.

IMO there is not much more you can do to a Glock before you have to come up with a new gun style.

G26 is plenty accurate and concealable, why the need for a 19 slide?

Yeah, G45 in 9mm just sounds wrong.....they run out of numbers or sumpin’?

Those front cocking serrations make it look like the slide was put on backwards.
On other handguns they look right at home, but not on Glocks...

I am actually not a big fan of the front serrations. I've never had a use for them. To me they just cause unnecessary wear on a holster. But a nice gun overall.

Why would you need front cocking serrations on a GLOCK that already has a tactile loaded chamber indicator?

Teets on a Boar hog.

Pass.

Love the new IPhon.... New GLOCK! GLOCK!!! With .... front cocking serrations and that stupid cut out from gen 2 gone. Whats funny is Glock is making the same gun as the VP9sk and the XD series. The GX and G45 are service sized shooters. Glock just did it like S&W and added 2 extra rounds. Not hating but they are a little late..... just like Apple.

So they finally decided the front strap cut out was terrible and got rid of it, now the Gen5 is the perfect Glock.

They made a "market" after market Glock for you. I really do like the look of the 19.

I never want to hear you Glock fan bois *****ing that Glocks should remain stock.

From the horses' mouth: "GLOCK was born to be customized. Shop the GLOCK Store." https://us.glock.com/Products/g19_gen5_mos_fs

AFTII, there are people, not just Glock fanbois who think guns should remain stock, AK people are notorious. there are good arguments for both and intended use is huge

That being said, some things can't be modified, like adding dual slide release. So Glock, if you're reading this please make a 45 acp gen 5 with ambi controls and forward serrations. And maby consider reevaluating your naming scheme for the different models, because this Glock G45 is going to cause all kinds of confusion
