Default Shield 9mm IWB Kydex Holster-recommendations?

**NOTE, title should have said "Shield 9mm IWB Kydex MAGAZINE Holster-recommendations?"

I purchased this IWB Kydex (technically Boltaron) Shield 9mm holster. The fact that it is from a veteran owned company made me try it. It turns out this is my favorite holster, more favorite than my Ventcore Stealthgear IWB mini for the Shield. The CYA holster is very sturdy, has a high side that covers the safety and keeps the slide off my skin, and is perfect compromise between thickness and durability. It is quick on, quick off (unlike the SG, which is a PITA to get on and off). The only drawback is that if you are using it with a tactical belt like a 5.11 Maverick Assaulters Belt you need to get a longer clip, which they sell for less than $5.

Now I am looking for a nice IWB Kydex or Boltaron IWB single mag holster for the Shield 9mm. I tried a few universal ones from the LGS and none of them fit the Shield 9mm magazine at all (either way too loose or way too tight). Any recommendations?

These are nice...And I know you said IWB but OWB mag holders are usually super easy to conceal so maybe it's an option for you...

Adjustable for both tension and 270 degrees of rotation. Not exactly cheap though.

Alternatively, JM Custom's quality is top notch...and they do have IWB models...

I use Neo Mag holders. They have diff sizes to fit 9mm/.45 and have diff length clips if you want it to be lower in your pocket.

Beachtech, If your in South OC you can stop by my shop inside Artemis Defense Institute and try on one of our tuckable, IWB single mag holsters. We have new line of dual mag holsters that are tuckable but can be used IWB or OWB. These should be available on Friday, we plan to debut them at the Ontario Guns Show this weekend. If your attending stop by and say hi, we are Packin' Fur Defense.

Light Tuck

Love it.
Most comfortable and stable holster I have.
I've bought JMC, Blackpoint, and a couple of others recommended here... always ended up going back to the Vedder.

What problems are you having putting on your Stealth Gear holster? Mine is super easy to put on. Slide front in pants, snap on front clip to belt, slide back inside, snap back clip onto belt. Really easy.

I would like to try a holster like the like you posted though, and Amazon has it free one day shipping. Hmmm...

I used to roll my shield with a TT Gunleather mikes special holster, but it's just a little too bulky and adds to the already heavy shield, I got a sticky and that's my every day holster, lightweight and works great.

Same here, have tried several brands over the years. I have settled on Vedder holsters, as well as the Vedder belt 😜

I myself have a shield 9 and have a Kydex holster I picked up from the crossroads gun show. Not a fan of it. Also have a remora “sticky” holster. Also don’t like it.

I was looking at Mikes Special also by TT as I thought the leather would be more comfortable, but after reading this I dunno.

I also tried crossbreed. To bulky.
