Got mine last week. Box was in great shape. Took less than 5 minutes to cut all 50 UPC labels from the boxes.

Should of ordered 4K instead of 1K... darn

Ordered 2K - they shipped it as the Four 500 round boxes taped and strapped together as one box. Good shape with a catalogue on top.

I have a Federal handgun ammo rebate order too, so I was scared of the 'max' rebate per household, otherwise I'd have ordered the full 4K.

that's the way they came but no catalog and all corners crushed . that was 1 of 2 and the 2nd got put on the wrong truck and went to PHOENIX, AZ for 3 days got lost and then found.
Shipment exception
Barcode label unreadable and replaced.

I'm wondering what this 2k is going to look like

i'm gonna use sharp scissors and exacto knife.

and will have a roll of tape to tape up the box flap that will have to be opened to cut the UPC off.

i also don't want to dump out all the ammo into the ammo can as loose bulk.

Cabela's does... and they have AE now for $6.49 or $5.49 after MIR... as low as $4.06 per box or .20 per round after AJ with 20% Gift Cards.

Fill out the electronic form and it prints out a slip with barcode to send in. You don't even send in the original paper rebate form.

I would write the lot number down and keep it with that ammo just incase a recall.

I just score the outer layer and peel it. Takes a little longer but it's easier in the long run than turning thousands of rounds into bulk ammo.

Are you guys glueing the UPCs onto a piece of paper so they can be counted and not lost? Like the newegg rebates?

Took me about 20-25 minutes to peel the UPC labels off each box (I peeled the outer layer with the UPC off 50 boxes), print out the form, tape the labels on the form and address the envelope.

So $50 for 20-25 minutes of work including stuffing them into an ammo can. Not bad, unlike the same job I did with those dreaded CCI SV .22lr that netted me $10 and a woman's T-shirt (luckily it fits my wife though she'll never be caught wearing that shirt to the mall lol)

I think I'll do this thing again.

I ended up taping all of mine to a blank sheet of paper. Much neater and easier to verify.

Default For those buying cases of AE223NBK...

I called and spoke to a representative with the company doing the rebate (found here: https://sporting.myonlinerebate.com/11660/) and asked them about how to submit a rebate for those of us who bought 1000 round cases and was told to do the following:

1. Submit the rebate online via the form link and use just ONE of the Product UPCs from the individual 20-round boxes inside case and specify the total quantity of individual boxes purchased. (x50, 100, 150, or 200 depending on how many cases of 1000 you bought)

2. I asked the rep if they really wanted 200 UPC codes as proof and she said: "No, we don't need all those! Just cut the cardboard UPC code off from each box containing 500 rounds and that will be fine."

So if you purchased 1000 rounds you'll submit your online rebate form with the UPC code of the individual 20 round box with a listed quantity of x50 but when shipping proof of purchase to them with your rebate printout and original receipt, you will ONLY need to include x2 cardboard box 14-digit UPC codes and *NOT* the 50 individual UPCs on the smaller ammo packs.

Apologies to those who already clipped 50-200 UPC codes... there was no way in hell I was doing that unless I absolutely had to. Hope this helps others out.

The upc on the 500 round box does not work on their website.
The upc on the 20 round box works when you enter it.

That's why you use the 20 round box UPC per the instructions given. What you *don't* have to do is mail in 50-200 20-round UPC codes... just submit the x2 500 round box UPC codes per how many 1000 round cases you purchased.

What if that rep gave you the wrong info and the info you provide does not match up with the upc you provided? Are you going to chance it?

They reject rebate all the time.

If we're playing the 'what if' game, they could just as easily decide to reject the rebate since my original sales receipt won't say x200 AE223N but x4 FAA223NBK. When contacting Federal, Vista Outdoors, and Natchez, all three stated the rebate will be honored if purchased and submitted in this format.

Feel free to call Vista Outdoors via their toll free number and inquire yourself. Took me less than 5 minutes from dial to hangup to get the details and confirmation I needed. If you hear anything differently from them, I'd definitely like to know.

So all you're doing is clipping 8 UPC codes (1 upc per 500 rd pack) from the 20rd individual boxes since you purchased a total of 4k rounds? Then on the rebate form just marking the 12 digit UPC code which shows 20 rounds on the "# of rounds" section and marking x200 ? Including the receipt with the rebate shows were purchasing 4k rounds so there's no way to lie so how come we gotta clip 1 UPC code per 500 round box if all the UPC codes are the same lol. like why can't we just clip 1 upc cause the receipt shows how many we purchased to back us up. I'm gonna call lol
