Thumbs up Steyr LP50 Compact High Power

Just picked up my LP50 High Power Compact from Pilk's. I made the rear sight rail out of a standard aluminum picatinny rail I had in the parts bin. Just had to cut to length. Screws right into the rear sight mount point & squares up to the receiver. Really sweet shooter. I will chrono it & give shot counts/ data shortly.

*Also want to give props to Jennifer & folks @ Pilk's for helping with the grips. I ordered it with R/H mediums (as seen in the pic) and they're a little small for my manly mitts. Jennifer is sending out a Large & & also a large Universal (ambi) grip for me to try out at no cost.
Good Stuff!

The cylinder under the barrel unscrews & I fill it from a larger Scuba tank. I get about 80 shots per fill @ approx 650 fps. It hammers my steel silhouette targets & sends them flying with a sweet sounding 'Ping'

There are a few places you can find them cheaper (Krale's), but I bought mine from a US vendor because I wanted 'local' support. This is a semi-auto version of Steyr's Olympic pistol. The grip it came with is extremely customizable & set up for Olympic 10 meter competition.

Here's a pic with the universal grips, they are ambidextrous & look the same on both sides. These are marked as "L" but still seem just a hair too small in my hands. I guess all the dudes in Europe just have naturally small appendages.

Very comfy though. The Large target grip was also just a little small, so I'll be sticking with the universal.

Man that's a nice arsenal you've got there. Those Crosman multi-pumps are super accurate & highly customizable. I plan to pick one up & 'race' it out. What SSP is that?

whats the fps @ 15 yds and 25 yds?

How many fills per your scuba tank? whats its capacity?

what does it cost to fill the large scuba tank? I know the compressor for the 4k psi runs about 1200.

FPS at the muzzle is a consistent 650 fps. Haven't measured at distances yet. I have a 550 cu/in 4500 psi tank. No Idea how many fills for the pistol out of this. So far I have five & the needle hasn't even moved. Can fill for free at my local Fire Station

Thanks BigStick,..!

That's a mid 90's Feinwerkbau LP 100. I bought it used a few months ago. This particular gun was an import done by Beeman Airguns when they were in Huntington Beach, CA. But the funny story is that I bought it used online from a regular seller (Carel) in Sweden! Huntington Beach is 20min from where I live, so I guess I brought the gun back home, lol!
