Default Iconic Industries 80% lowers

These look like really nice 80% lowers so I placed an order back in December of last year. I have yet to receive anything so the jury is out.

Has anyone else successfully purchased lowers from these guys?

150 for an 80% ouch! I have never heard of them before. I once waited 3 months for a lower with 80 percent arms due to their anodizing vendor. Have you called or emailed the company to see what's taking so long?

I've emailed serval times with only being told they have a huge back order & are producing them daily. I'm not concerned about the money because I paid with a credit card through PayPal. So I have 2x ways to recover the $.

Their website is really poorly done with very little views. A lot of red flags. Don't wait too long to dispute the charge.

PayPal covers you for 180. I figured I'd give them a few more weeks. If they can't deliver a product in that time frame, they're not going to last. IMO.

agreed give it a 2 more weeks 4 months of waiting even if it is back ordered is way to long.

Says 90 day lead time on some items when you do pull downs, but you are getting past that I would be upset.

Yes it says 90 days now but that verbage has been updated because if I remember correctly it was 8 weeks when I placed my order. Either way my 90 days are just about up so I'll be blasting them after that.

Bought mine off of https://msrarms.com and it arrived 2 weeks later. Still sitting on them, but quality appears solid.

Question, did you get their jig? Will other jigs work if I modify them...?

I bought one on sale about 15 months ago and it took 5 weeks to receive . Very nice quality with a special screw-in pin instead of the roll pin to drive in .
The jig that I had for the standard lower would not work with it though .

Oh yeah you'll need to buy their jig or modify the crap out of one for a mil spec lower.

Im just sitting on them right now, haven't looked into a Jig just yet, but from what one of the others said above I've heard you might need to modify it slightly, but I'm not 100% since I haven't done it yet.

Update on this company...Iconic originally quoted me 5 weeks, what a joke. Almost 4 months have gone by since I placed an order & I still haven't received my lowers. I can't say I'd do business with them again. PayPal is on my side so I'm not concerned about my money.

Wow that's crazy that it's been that long. I bought from them over a year ago but they were good to go back then, always replied to my emails quickly and I even got the lower earlier than expected. Sorry to hear that man, which one did you order out of curiosity?

I got a 5 pack of AR15's. Their email communication is terrible, thus they have -0 customer service. I've been told mine were on the production board for last 6 weeks. My guess is their credit is maxed out from buying material & with subs like anodising. They've probably outgrown their current business model & are lost. Too bad because their products look great.

I bought the Stealth one last year around August. Knew they were backordered, claimed 8 weeks. No big deal, I can be patient. Never heard from them again. At about 12 weeks I wrote to ask if they had status/update or anything. They got back to me right away, only to say they had mailed it out a month before. Never let me know, so I wasn't expecting or looking for it. Did they actually mail it? Did the post office lose it? Was it stolen from my porch? Hard to say, since it had been weeks since it happened. They didn't offer refund, replace, or anything (though I didn't demand either), just "well we sent it out". I took the loss and it wasn't worth my stress to deal with them any more. Sounds like not much has changed in the last nine months. YMMV.

This is so disturbing to hear. Unfortunately my experience with this company isn't getting any better. I filed a claim through Paypal on March 31st having not received anything after a 90 day wait. Iconic then ships me their jig (part of my order) to avoid Paypal automatically issuing me a refund. This was a dirty move because they have yet to answer a single email of mine as to when I will receive my lowers ( it's been over 120 days). Paypal is still on my side but their procedures for refunding can take months as it already has.

Iconic Industries Review: DO NOT do business with "Jay / Kim" or any other person at iconicindustriesinc.com If you must own their products, buy them from one of their distributors when it's in stock. If not you'll get screwed like others including me.

This is why I seldom if ever deal with startup companies online. I stick with the established sellers. Aero and Spikes never disappoint.

I was totally fine waiting but in the last 2 months I've only received one email / update basically saying my order was close. That was one month ago. If your going to not deliver something on a deadline, you need clear communication. They haven't given a single response to 3-4 emails.

They flat out don't care, take your money & hold it hostage.

It's been drawn out because Iconic sent me the jig & provided a tracking number to paypal. This was a move to avoid refund. Paypal is still on my side but that action has given Iconic more time. However Iconic has yet to respond to anything, even paypal.

What's so special with their 80%'s? I'd much rather stick with TM.

So paypal has been unable to make Iconic send me the rest of my order. So looks like I've got to send them back their jig to get my refund. Unfortunately I'm on the hook for shipping but their located in Stockton Ca. So I'm out a little money, 4 months of my time & gave them an interest free loan.

FUTURE BUYERS BEWARE!!!

Just so you know paypal doesn't allow transactions for firearms , receivers or gun parts so be careful what you say in the dispute https://www.paypal.com/us/selfhelp/a...irearms-FAQ585

Update: Iconic is so shady they didn't even provide a legitimate return address to paypal. I sent that junk back but who knows where it ends up now. Paypal has returned my $ in full, so F-you Iconic.
