Just saw that Mr.A.G.Russell passed on -0/12/2018. At times he would attend the old Pomona gun show . RIP

He made and designed many cool knives and helped many knife makers along their path throughout the years.

His heart gave out on him at 85. RIP

Yup, lots of the old masters and knife industry icons from the 20th century have passed.

His catalog is one of the reasons I got so heavily into knives. That was what I waited around for to see what the “new” hot knife was that came out....way before the knife/internet craze.

Just saw this. RIP Mr Russell. I have one of his Lockback Folders with the VG-10 Japanese steel. Probably my favorite knife. Knife world will miss him.
