Guess there is a population of them around Delevan. This was north near Sac NWR.

Interesting. I made a post in late October about an albino buck that was killed near where the photo was taken. Was this photo taken before the buck died or is this a different one?

I made a post on the JHO forum about the white buck and a lot of people claimed to have seen albino deer within the same general area. I thought that maybe people were seeing the same buck, but maybe they were seeing several different deer.

This was about 2 weeks ago

I did come across this:
Quote:
Mastrup had heard the same stories for years but didn't see his first albino mule deer until the early 1990s, while trapping pheasants for relocation at Delevan National Wildlife Refuge, east of Maxwell in the Sacramento Valley's Colusa County.
Seems they've been in the gene pool for quite come time.

Giant, funny looking ducks and a great big, long legged jackrabbit, dirt, bushes, reeds, telephone pole and wires. Oh, and some water.

Is this a trick?

Did I win some Interweb coupons?

Nice racks are much better. You can grab both sides of the rack to help stabilize while mounting.

Maybe barb sluiced his snow goose decoy and its taking on water. When I was younger and dumber i would sluice crips in the decoys and so my Dad made me drill and drain them. Now Ill wait for crips to clear like a smart guy.

I remember back in the early 90's there used to be a herd of albino deer that would rest right off of the 580 in Castro Valley. You could see them as you drove by.

See my picture. they're not albino deer. These two were together will the rest of the herd was about 500 yards on another ridge. These were not bothered by my presence as I drove up to the water tank that theyre grazing next to.

Found the gal last week

Looks like she was hit by a car, and dragged herself off the road.

White as snow.

Snapped a photo and let her be in peace.
