Default EOTech Flip to Side Magnifier

Tried out my friend's Eotech+Magnifier combo today. Love both the sight and the magnifier. A minor concern popped into my head, how durable is the mechanic on the flip to side mount? I would imagine using the flip to side mechanic often if I ever acquire the combo. Anyone experienced issue with the flip to side mechanic of the magnifier? If it becomes loose it would definitely render the magnifier unuseable.

The one ive toyed around with for a short duration seemed very very good. I dont see it having any issues, but it may be worth it to look at the Wilcox mount if it makes you feel better.

If its a G33 magnifier its one of the best mounts standard for a factory FTS. The old G23 was not the best. Ive had the G23, 4x and the G33 its still by far my favorite magnifier even over the Aimpoint that I sold last week with a Larue FTS.

Have had that setup for 3 years now. No issues and just a solid as day 1.

I have 4 of the eotech+magnifiers running on AR's. The quality is top shelf. You will never have a problem. I run simulated drills around my house and flip the magnifier out of the way a lot. Never an issue.

They work well and are built well. I found I used it with the magifier
up most of the time. The issue was both weight and my astigmatism. Insent all my Eotech's back when they had a recall. I've since replaced it with a 1-6 scope with a speed lever. I'd love to get an Elcan but the prices are crazy.

The G33 is the best magnifier in the market right now imo. The only downside is price, which is soon forgotten.

I love mine. I flip it often. Had it maybe 3 years. No problems. Bought mine used here in the marketplace.
