WTS/WTT: Multiple handguns (ALL SOLD)
Make/Model: Smith & Wesson 547 w/3" barrel in 9mm
Caliber: 9mm Location (city or county): Castro Valley Price: Will ship (Y/N): Yes, at buyer's expense. Off-roster gun, but I can convert it to single-action only to qualify for the SAO exemption (and include parts/instructions on how to convert it back) Other info: Outstanding condition with faint turning lines. No other blemishes on the gun. Includes the uncommon round-butt target grips. If you are not familiar with the 547, this was a model created at the request of the French national police which wanted a revolver that could shoot 9mm ammo without needing moon clips. The model was produced for only a few years in the 1980s and did not sell well because everyone was clamoring for semi-autos at that time. S&W eventually discontinued the gun after producing about 10,000 guns (roughly 6500 3" models and 3500 4" models). Possible trades of interest (+/- cash as appropriate): - FN SCAR 17 FDE - S&W Model 627 Performance Center 5" - S&W Model 65 Lady Smith - Arsenal SGL-31 - S&W Model 22 - Remington 700P or SPS Varmint in .308 - Sig P226 (no rail - used but a good shooter and priced accordingly)

Make/Model: M.S. Safari Arms Enforcer
Caliber: .45ACP Condition: Mechanically excellent. Gun shows finish wear for having been carried as the original owner’s (a family member) LTC pistol for a few months. The first owner probably never put more than 100 rounds through the gun. Comes with two magazines. Location: Castro Valley (SF East Bay) Price: Will ship (Y/N): No. Off-roster gun. Other info: This pistol was one of the early efforts to turn a full-powered .45acp 1911 into something that could be more-easily concealed. Built in the late 1970s or early 1980s, this is a Tempe, Arizona (pre-Olympic Arms) model, which had an outstanding reputation for quality.

Smith & Wesson 547 in 9mm
Traded to stphngm
Caliber: .38 Special Condition: Mechanically excellent. Gun shows light surface scratches from use. One small spot on left side of barrel at the muzzle (see last pic). A family member was the previous owner, and I doubt that they put more than a couple hundred rounds through the gun. I've fired maybe 25 more. The grips shown are original to the gun. Location: Castro Valley (SF East Bay) Price: $675 (cash only). See end of message for possible trades. Will ship (Y/N): Possibly. Gun meets dimensional requirements for Single Action Exemption from the roster, but I need to take a look at the internals to make sure I can convert it easily. Other info: This is a very uncommon stainless Chief's Special with a 3" barrel, full underlug, adjustable sights, and target trigger & hammer. Basically, this is a mini-686 and is well-loved by many who own the model (see thread). The model was only produced 1990-95. This one appears to have been made in 1991. Possible trades of interest: - Kriss Vector Carbine - Arsenal SGL-31 - FN SCAR 17 - S&W Model 65 Lady Smith - S&W Model 625 (PC or JM) - S&W Model 22 - S&W K-22 or Model 17 - Sig P226 (no rail - used but a good shooter and priced accordingly) - CZ 75 (B or BD) or 85 B (used but a good shooter and priced accordingly) - Remington 700P in .308 - FN FNS-9 Long Slide

Yes, still available.
Several people have asked about the Remington Rand, but that one is gone.

If you still have the 547 I'll take it.
Do you have an FFL? Thanks, Randy Davis Tombstone, AZ b1g1r0n@aol.com |
