I was in there today and they received one or two. Much better pricing than what I've seen in the for sale section. Actually they had a lot of stuff in stock as far as handguns as well. Lots of Sig handguns of various models too.

But I have purchased from them before and they are good folks...

I'd rather pay $3499 for a new rifle instead of something "new" from our private sales forum that is anything more than that. Just my preference though. I just posted for others who were in the market for one and were looking for something in stores.

If it were a 17S than maybe, but definitely not for a 16S. Although I saw Crosshairs in Torrance asking about that much for an M6A2 LWRC, lol

It's a rip-off for either one.
This market was driven by Spastics that freaked out and had to buy anything they could get their hands on, then the ammo to feed 'em.
The market is now finally starting to stabilize, and even come down finally, so WE-the guys that inhabit the market day in and day out, need to chill the heck out and STAY AWAY from the over-priced weapons and ammo.
Like everything else, weapons are only worth what people are WILLING to pay for them. As long as people keep paying up to a buck a round for 5.56, Noveske prices for Del-ton/Stag/BCM/take your pick ARs, $1k for $500 AKs, and $3500 for $2400 SCARs, dealers and unscrupulous 'Private' sellers will keep expecting to get that much for 'em.
5.56 should cost around 30-cents/rd in bulk, Del-tons should cost $700+/-, WASRs <$500, and SCAR 16s UNDER $2400. Hell, I remember some dealers dropping their prices on SCAR 17s to around $2500 last summer..
Seriously...WE set the prices for this ****, and the frenzy is over. It's high time we start using our wallets to bring everyone back down to Earth.

I wouldnt want your scar or any scar. I just spent $5k on 3 rifles. that's a better value for me. you got balls though. And that's pretty presumptuous of you. You may sell it if you lose the attitude. It's conduct unbecoming, but that's just me.

Classic. Lol.
Plenty of scars at 2400 on GB from sellers willing to take 20 minutes to pin stock and add BB.

Like I said, big talk. No one on here would sell a SCAR in Cali for 2400$. No one can buy one for that in Cali either, retail is much higher if you can find one. Good day.

I am sure nobody here would sell a scar for 2400, you are right. But I wouldn't be a dick a try to completely rip someone off and ask 5k for one. You can find them cheaper than 5k. Dumb people who pay too

Last time I checked, its a free market economy. You may not like the price or the item, however another may be perfectly fine with it. Keep calling me names, I'm sure it makes you feel tough. I put it at a price that its worth for me to let go of it, knowing I probably can't replace it in the future. To each his own, good day.

Funny how many times the phrase, "It's a free market economy!" has been used to justify being greedy. Unnecessary middlemen and resale speculators are the useless leeches of your beloved free market and actually make it less efficient.

So of you love the free market as you portray in your comment, stop participating in secondary market speculation. Artificial shortages exacerbated by opportunistic exploiters of market dynamics HURTS the firearms community.

And that is why everyone is treating you like a pariah, because you are a traitor to this very community.

But hey, keep bragging about the $5K you swindled out of some poor sap, personally I feel such a deed should illicit guilt and shame not pride, but I guess we were raised differently.

The SCAR is a nice rifle but did I see them pre-panic for like $1,800.00 or was that something else?

I don't think they were ever that cheap. I was trying to get one for months prior to the panic and couldn't find one listed for under 2300+tax/dros, but try as I did I couldn't actually find one to buy at that price or even higher.

Gotcha, I must have been looking at something else for that low of a price. Thanks.

I think there were some ACR's around for that price back then... ACR is kinda a knockoff SCAR (some people like it more, many don't).

There were a lot of blems what sold for just over $2k.. I never saw one for less.

In this market $2600 or so would be a "fair" price.. but the buyers set the prices, not the sellers.

Actually, I'd say the market sets the price. A seller will offer for sale at a price they deem is enough to make them want to sell, a buyer will likewise decide what price they are willing to buy at. If those numbers (curves) don't overlap, no sale occurs. Basics of economics. There is no way in hell anyone is selling one for 2600$ total in CA today. Retail is that much these days prior to tax...only problem is there is no gun around at that price to be sold for retail. Good luck.

Hey, if you can get it from some desperate soul then more power to you.. but that price is stupid and is only paid by someone too clueless or lazy to get a better deal.
