Default Perazzi MX-3 Special Trap combo. Need info on takedown/disassembly.

So I am new to Trap guns, but this is somewhat of a special gun for many reasons. I am looking to learn how to take down the trigger assembly, and possibly replace the unit with a standard trigger, rather than the Giuliani release trigger that is in it. Any help would be great, the Youtube videos didn't help a lot for what I need.

If it is like the MX-8, push forward on the safety switch, and pull trigger group down.

Try contacting Jordan at Pacific Sporting Arms (he visits this site regularly too).

Hang out at your local clay club and find the resident Perazzi expert. Or, take a trip to PSA in Azusa and drool over their stock while they help you. If you do that, don't forget to make an appointment at Perazzi USA (only about a block away) to look at their current offerings.

Be careful with that. Every time I go for something I end up getting/ordering another shotgun.

I think this is probably the most likely. I'll try to give a Trap Club a shot, and see if I can come up with anything.

Figuring out how to switch the release trigger from single to double.

there are internally and externally selectable release triggers.....not sure which you have but there are a lot of potential resources for you.

Mr. Don Rackley sells Giuliani triggers.. i bet if you give him a call with the trigger in hand he can walk you through it. www.donrackleygunparts.com

The USA distributor for Giuliani parts is Briarcrest Partners, LLC 507 Briarcrest Circle Heath TX 75032 cell 972-839-0205

Target Shotguns website (https://www.targetshotguns.com/produ...ani-gl224-2675) shows that they also carry the line. They're in NC 828-693-3833.

I think Giacomo does as well, they're in NY, Phone: 315.336.1356

Removing the hooks should return it to a pull/pull trigger. Release triggers are easy to sell and pull/pull triggers are easy to buy. A good release will almost buy you two regular triggers.
