My new SR9 range report
I finally got to pick up my SR9 yesterday and took it to the range, and I have to say I really like this gun. The trigger is nice but could be a litttle lighter. It has very little recoil and is very accurate. I am going to post some pics in a min. Let me know what you think!
This is from 7yds first time firing At 18 yds 3rd time firing She shoots a little high but I think I am going to put a few more rounds on target today and see how things go

I just got my G17 a couple weeks ago as my first handgun, and my wife now enjoys shooting so much she now says down the road SHE wants a pistol for herself. I told her to get an SR9. Why?
Because I want one!! I wont tell her that though, I simply said the thinner grips would work well for her

The Wife and I are going to the range today for our first time shooting together. I can't wait to shoot with her! Plus I get to shoot her LCR...

Glad to hear you like your SR9 they are great shooters. I really enjoy shooting mine and its also my nitestand gun. Just keep shooting it and the trigger will get better. Some take out the mag disconnect and say it gives you a lighter trigger I haven't I would just worry about the legal BS to much. Now the only problem you have is soon you will be wanting to get the SR9c. Once you get the C your only problem will be which gun to take to the range or how much ammo if you take both. Enjoy your SR have fun and be safe. Redhemi

I think Breco can get em around $460. I'd also check PRK for a good price in the Fresno Clovis area.

We got both of them at American Shooting Center in San Diego. And yes it was a good price. And its a good thing too because now my wife wants mine! Her LCR .38SP kicks too hard for her and she likes the feel of the SR9. So we are looking at getting her the SR9c this weekend and I will prob use the LCR as an EDC gun. I really enjoyed shooting with the wife and I hope we will get out again soon.... I just wish there was a range closer to our house.

I was aiming for the center. I know she shoots a little bit high but I didn't want to make any adjustments just yet. I want to get the feel of her first then I will dial it in and bring in the groups a little tighter.

Just taking note: The photo shows the "D shaped" magazine release, which indicates that you have the upgraded design with the better trigger (like the SR9C). Older models with the "O" trigger are a bit heavier and break less cleanly.

My wife is waiting to pickup her SR9c. She can't wait to shoot it. Mothers Day gift!
Ya really gotta love a woman that will go shooting with you! I know I do!

Thats why I asked, some guns shoot high on purpose. Next time you go shooting try aiming with a six o'clock hold at the bottom of the circle. Either way it looks like you found a pistol that suits you |

+1 Play around with the sight picture and it looks like you will be about dead-on. A fellow at the range not long ago asked me to shoot his SR9 and I found it to be dead-on, with a nice crisp trigger for a Stryker.
