Default My new M48! How'd I do? (Pic Heavy)

So here it is. Just picked this M48 up for 275. Let me know what you all think. Action feels great. Bore is dirty but rifling is very strong and still bright, crown looks great too. Just gotta the cosmoline out of it!

My father's coworker. And it'll come with about 400-600 rounds of 8mm depending on 50s or 70s production.

Nice! It doesn't look like yours has a crack in the top hand gaurd behind the rear site like the few others I have seen (including my own). Be gentle taking the top cover off, its very thin on the back where the clip is. Mine felt like it was almost glued on, completely packed with cosmoline between the barrel and cover. It didnt help that the previous owner didnt bother cleaning the cosmoline off of it before shooting it.

Well done.

Try the G43/MP44 sight hood it's taller.

Did you get the bayonet and other accessories?
