Wise Words !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After All the Rain we have gotten there are some Nice ,,,, Ruts in the road

One ditch just past the old Double -Check retreat ...It has bitten a few plastic valance panels off and shredded some fender inner liners off

Next obstacle is where the other road on left goes up to orchard.
Real Bumper Grabber !!!!!!Very sharp drop off angle

And there's More .............
SO ... to go out there you will need some Ground Clearance

Just Tuesday I pulled out a Subarbu with my Rhino that didn't belong out there

The road has been Graded till the road on the left going up to the orchard
About 1/2 mile in is OK

Then you are on your own !!!!!!!!!!!

If you don't have good ground clearance or 4 X 4

Don't try going past spot # 2

I will be out of town this weekend. So instead I went last weekend and cleaned up 100's of shotshells and other trash from #4 I think it was. It wasn't much but I nearly filled a trash can with debris before we left last Sunday. Sorry I won't be there to help this time.

Thanks guys for the clean up!

Has anyone been lately? Would a 4runner 2x4 make it up with the road maintenance?

Default How close can a car get?

Just wondering if Bee Canyon is car accessible? A buddy and I have yet to break in our new pistols and he god some cheap ammo that an indoor range may not let him shoot. Anyway just hoping to find an out door spot to fire off a couple hundred rounds.

TIA

If "cheap ammo" means steel core, it's not allowed in the Forest. Steel case is ok.
Steel core, armor piercing or Teflon ammunition is not permitted. You may only shoot at a target which is dirt, paper, wood, clay pigeon, or a metal spinning/knockdown target. Pick up and dispose of your targets when you are done.

The Dirt-Bags from Steel Peak have found Bee Canyon

And now there is BIGGER trash showing up //Washing machine ... Furniture.... gallon jugs of old oil

Good Idea ...

I was thinking about that also

I have a good selection of ladders so it could be put up high enough in an oak tree along the road

This is not looking to be a good year for Bee Canyon, is it? Late December and still no rain? Has anyone heard anything from Forest Service contrary to what I believe to be the case?

Yup what a shame I live not far from Bee Canyon and the place is closed I guess I will keep reloading until it's reopened. I will be ready for our next clean up when that time comes around.
