Looks like a 5 yr interest free loan to them. I passed on it. Don't need anymore certs or memberships or credit. If you have a diamond or above use that and take advantage of the great training

Keep it simple: https://shop.blade-tech.com/product_...8#.WcQ7EsiGPyQ

Or a pair of tactical pants with some good pockets instead....

2x Blade-tech Rifle Mag Pouches plus a mag in your pocket is plenty sufficient if you are using 20 or 30 round mags. I don't have a clue on 10 rounders.

Take note that AR-15 mags are different than PMAG AR-15 mags when ordering these mag holders.

Any of you guys camped out right outside the gate? Can you offer some intel on things like:
- ok to make a campfire?
- brown rooms there?
- is dry practicing ok?

Thanks

It is BLM land. No improvements. No brown rooms. I have tent camped there. Now it appears you are likely to have trailers/motor homes with you on most classes.

Not sure about the rules as far as campfires.

I copied this off the FS website:

Plans are complete for the development these facilities to the Front Sight Resort:

∑*********Central classroom for 1300 students

∑*********Large retail facility

∑*********Stress vest simulator village

∑*********Fast attack vehicle shooting down a canyon

∑*********200 Vacation Villas

∑*********200 RV sites

∑*********30,000 square foot clubhouse with restaurants, lounge and gaming

∑*********Crystal Lagoon with recreational water activities*

These two seem new:

Stress vest simulator village
*Fast attack vehicle shooting down a canyon

Surprised nothing new updated in this thread.

Anybody with any input on the shooting in LV? I know some Calgunners have been affected. Hope nobody at FS was affected. Prayers to all.

Haven't myself but seen plenty that have. The instructors are used to it and adjust accordingly for the drills that require it, so it doesn't seem to be an issue at all.

I did a few years back, was the only one in the class. It was fine for me and instructors helped cater to my needs of only running 6.

There was a guy in my last class that used a revolver. He was so fast.

Makes Malfunction drills different, but the instructors are used to it!

Make sure speed loaders work with the gun! Iíve seen on another class where a guy changed his grips on a revolver and didnít check to make sure they would fit. They didnít.

Thanks gents!

I take it you had the speedloaders and carriers for them? Anything else she should be sure to take?

Hi gang. It's been a couple of years. $50 Background check still required after 12-months from your last one? TIA

Aren't they usually only offered the week of the 4th of July?
Are they getting rid of those?

The reason your not seeing any night courses is because this year FS started posting their course schedules only seven months ahead instead of the whole year. The current posted schedule (https://www.frontsight.com/Schedule.asp?View=List) is only up to April 2018. They usually offer night courses during the July 4th week so you probably won't see them in the schedule until January 2018.

Oh. Didn't realize they scaled back night courses. It's been awhile. They used to have way more night courses

I'm interested in a Diamond membership (or whatever is the current basic membership) for a friend. Can annual background checks also be paid for by someone else? If so, I'd be interested in one as well.

PM me.

Yes, others can pay for someone's background check fee.

Two of us have plans for some F.S. training later this month. Anyone know what the policies of the various major Vegas hotel properties are regarding concealed carry? Steve Wynn during an interview on Fox News Sunday morning said they do not allow firearms on their properties. We are looking at one of the Caesar hotels and don't want a surprise.
