Thumbs up Incredible action on Benchmade Grizzy Ridge

Hi folks.

i assume many visitors to this section of the forums are experts on knives...i am not.

i have never personally spent more than $40 on a knife until last week, and although i do appreciate the aesthetics of certain knives, i have never been the type to ask to see them at the lgs, as i was never really that interesting in dropping big bucks on a blade.

this changed recently as i have purchased a benchmade grizzly ridge after running into a review by chance.
.
having never tried a benchmade knife with the axis lock, i didn't know what to expect, and i has pleasantly surprised by the easy action of this model.
this is truly a one-hand knife. while the thumb stubs work fine, just releasing the axis lock (to remove spring tension) and a flick of the wrist opens this knife effortlessly. sweet!

i would like to thank (and blame) fellow calgunners for making me spend so much money on a knife.

I picked one of these up a few weeks ago. First knife purchase in a long time and so far so good. Feels good in the hand and really pleased with the action. Would buy again.

I have a Benchmade Barrage, the blades are similar in shape. Hope you enjoy your new knife.

Beautiful looking knife. Benchmades are awesome. I personally really like the 940-943 series. really itching to get the 940-1 with carbon fiber handle and S90V reverse Tanto blade.

Benchmade has always made very good stuff. Even when I bought their stuff in the early 1990s

A few guys I know swear by Benchmade and after handling theirs I can see why. Benchmade is at the top of my list for a "nice" knife that I don't beat on like the rest of my tools.
