Well nuntfancy said it was a good "tactical" knife, so it must be true... In all seriousness though, for only $40 I'm pretty impressed with it.

I touch the edge up every six months or so, and it really doesn't even need it. I bought a few when they were on sale just to keep around. Guess what... never even lost one of these ten dollar knives in the 4 years I've carried them. If I carried anything that was worth more, I would have lost a few by now.

That much use justifies paying more , for example in the last year I have yet to need a knife in any situation. So for me I see it more as someting that will come in handy rather . $h!t I forgot my knife let's go swing by my car and get it.

Have been partial to Kershaw knives with speed assist for a couple years. I've carried a few models. They work well and they aren't too expensive that you're bummed out when something happens to them. If probably got 15 or so right now. I tend to buy one or three when I see them at a good price. Kershaw also does lifetime sharpening but I've yet to take advantage of it. I guess with 15 sitting around I've got no excuse not to send a couple in.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zRnVY9qLCEE (2:23-2:53 is what sold me lol) Busse Knives also makes their AK47 short sword - ~29" OAL http://www.google.com/search?q=busse...=1068&bih=1669 Jerry Hossom makes some WICKED blades too! http://www.google.com/search?q=jerry...=1068&bih=1669 Otherwise, I might also give www.zombietools.net a try someday and maybe even a Cold Steel katana. http://zombietools.net/tools/ http://zombietools.net/tools_archive/ Btw, the handle design on many of Jerry Hossom's knives/short swords is my favorite (with a "pinky hook" - the handle on a CS Spartan is similar) and I'm in the process of making a new handle with that shape for my Blackjack Panga (far left in last pic): http://www.google.com/search?q=cold+...=1068&bih=1669 Last edited by Samuelx; 11-18-2012 at 11:41 AM.. |

Me too. For off side carry the spring assist is perfect.

I carry the Benchmade 275BK. It's big and heavy but very stout and easy to manipulate with my weak hand from that pocket so I can keep my strong hand free. Love the Benchmade axis lock. I also dig Spyderco and ZT...have a CRK Sebenza that's been with me for years but I try to carry something heavy duty at work.

My favorite pocket knife (leatherman)
Here's the reason i like this knife. It's because of this flicker. Just grab the side body of the handle, Then flick it with the pointing finger, And it will lock in place automatically. Interchangable blade. The one on left is for work, And one on the right for regular pants (lightweight)
