Default HK stock pin ideas?

Hi

I have a UMP folding stock that I want to pin or modify to make it a fixed stock to make it CA compliant. I have a picture provided, it is currently attached to the stock block, NOT the receiver,, Any ideas?

thanks

In general, replace the latch spring with a solid bushing of the same diameter and length os the spring in it's compressed state.
Without seeing how your latch installs and removes, I don't know if that's possible.
Next option is to put a spacer behind the latch that keeps it latched in place.
After that, you look at actually drilling a hole and pinning the latch in place so it can not unlatch.
All options are usually quite simple once you understand how the parts fit together.

Is that an Omega receiver? I put a 40. Case in the middle of the stock spring to to block folder. Unfortunately you will have to remove the stock pin to clean the rig, I haven't found a convenient way to disassemble the action for maintenance

I have an HK UMP stock just like that, to prevent the stock from folding, remove the stock pin and replace the spring with a spent 45ACP case. Re-install the stock pin and you're all set.

This is picture of the folding stock opened up. I'm not quite sure where the .45 or .40 cal casing should sit without cutting into the stock.

You have to take the latch apart.
The case replaces the spring.

I don't remember the brand, but my stock's a USA made copy of HK's folding stock and it looks similar to yours.
It's been awhile but I think this is how I did mine:
Push on the plastic tab at that small square opening to pop out the stock locking piece and its spring.
Replace spring with shell case and re-install locking piece.
To put it back together, you'll need to punch out the stock's hinge pin to be able to remove the stock and re-install. (You have to remove stock since the locking piece cannot be pushed in to clear the stock catch.)
