Default AK bolt carrier

Are the AK bolt carriers the same for the AK 47 and 74?
I know that the bolts are different, but are the bolt carriers interchangeable between the 47 and 74 models.
Thanks

No.
Due to the differences in the bolt stem diameter, the carriers are different.

The pistons are also different in length.
