Default Remember Cabela's free ship deals for CA folks using CALAMMO

Well try putting any $99 or more of ammo into your cart and use CALAMMO. You find the shipping is free, even for non CA folks. I've tried a variety of types and makes and it all ships free using CALAMMO.

PS: It appears to only apply to ammo.

Also, remember the 556 American Eagle is on sale for $6.79. Not great, but the rebate is still on and the shipping is free. With gc's and AJ it's 26 cpr before rebate or 21 cpr with the buck a box rebate if you can still use it.

Likewise the PPU that's on sale can be had for 23.4 cpr.

Where are you seeing it for $6.79? I only see it on sale for $7.99 at the moment, but I'm admittedly more novice to the cabelas deals than someone of your stature

Oh okay, I thought they were just giving us the free shipping with that deal. I haven't cashed in the rebate yet, but for those that did in the beginning, what kind of deals were we seeing at cabelas? Something like this (~6.79 a box) plus a 10% off/free shipping coupon code? Or were they being careful not to put the federal ammo on sale at the same time as the 10% off coupons? With the rebate running through the end of the year, I'm thinking I'll have a good shot for one of these perfect storm type situations to happen and might hold out. I guess a lot is probably up in the air though with the merger happening.

At the beginning of August, they had it at 6.49 a box, free shipping with no promo code, and $20 off $150 coupons floating around. A bunch of us got it below 20 cpr: http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s....php?t=1363410

Anything can happen before the end of the year. You pays your money and you takes your chances.

Yep. Those were the days.

I don't know about you guys, but my bunker, I mean basement, is stacked pretty deep these days. I can always squeeze in a little more 9mm at 10.3 cpr, or .223 at 18.3 cpr, but I don't need to do any panic buying before the end of the year.

Yep. Same here. Except I'll always be on the lookout for a deal or two. Remember that Woodbury deal for the 22lr Fed Ultra Match that was around $8 a box when you bought 13 boxes to get $20 off?? I shot a box yesterday. My range report is up in AA, link below.

I wish they postponed the merger till next year, so we'd be able to get a benefit out of BF/Xmas sale.
10cpr for 9mm is probably about the cost of reloading.

Yeh, but look at the fun you have doing it.

Looks like the merger is a done deal this month. Still, we can hope there won't be any "major" changes to Cabela's until sometime next year. BF is only 10 weeks away and Xmas 14.

Time to put the Xmas outdoor lights and the tree up, isn't it??? Maybe this weekend. I want to beat the cold weather.

BF is a private enterprise. From my experience, private companies want to optimize the operations quick. The biggest concern is the tactical marketing, which most possibly BF will take over.

Thought I would remind everyone who's buying ammo at C's while there's a $5 shipping charge, that if you use the CALAMMO code, it's free shipping.
