Default Pre order PSA Lowers for $129 @ Turners.

I thought I'd share this. I was at the local Turners in Rancho Cucamonga and I pre paid 5 lowers that suppose to come within a week or two. I thought I heard the employee saying they're going to get about 10,000 lowers, again I cant confirm that but I was told there was enough for me to order the maximum of 5 and I get to save in DROS fees.

Also picked up 3 10/30 magpuls mags.

I just called the Pasadena store and they had not heard the rumor of PSA lowers coming in within a week or two. They also did not have PMAGs in stock, even checked the warehouse. I wonder how they distribute that stuff.

PSA, seriously? Well, they might get them in at PSA in a week or two, but they wouldn't ship them out until 2014....

I'd be shocked if they materialized. They were waiting months for lowers before the panic.

The same reason you got 2 in your Sig line, because you want them.

I've only bought from PSA once, and it was a week or so before the election when I bought a bunch of their blemished lowers for $60 ea. They took about 2 weeks to ship, but the price was right and I was in no hurry since they were paid for.

Because if you have $750 laying around you can get ONE basic AR15. And then they may be banned. But with FIVE lowers you can eventually have FIVE basic AR15s. But the controlled part now.

Kind of like, you know, you are at a bar, and they have last call, so you buy THREE drinks.

when they were $59 a pop my friend scored a few. Because we live in Louisiana, he Didn't have to pay for tax or DROS, just paid a flat $25 fee for the transfer of all the lowers at once. Not $25 a pop, but $25 for X amount of lowers total.

There's a lot of rumors going on right now about the amount coming in and when. The are taking preorders, that's about it.

Since the delivery date is sketchy, Is the DROS done at time of deposit? Or just payment in full and DROS later? 4473 Now or later?

Pre-ordered 3 yesterday. Can't DROS until serial numbers are available. Just leave a deposit and they'll call you when they come in to start the DROS.

Not to fuel the fire but who says they wont do what they do with nfa stuff? Trigger groups qualify as machine guns. I am more then good on lowers. But lacking in the parts kit department.

Just to add my 2 cents and contribute to the information already on the thread...
I called Pasadena, Kearny Mesa, and Signal Hill - all of these shops aren't taking any deposits (and I asked Pasadena's shop to see if they knew of any of the other Turner's are taking deposits - they said "No, We have been told by manufactures to stop taking deposits on all AR15 lowers and completes"). However, my buddies went into the Pasadena store this past Friday and was able to get their deposits in for the M&P 15.

I called Norwalk's store and was told around 1:30pm that they were taking deposits for the PSA stripped lower and have been for the past couple hours. I got in around 2:30pm and put in my deposit. They told me they're going to get stock in a week or 2.

As mentioned by others, DROS paperwork does not start until the actual lower with Serial # is received.

I was at the Encino Turners today and they were taking deposits but there was a 3 hour wait. I also called them 2 days ago and asked and they said that they are not taking deposits. My AR pick up is tomorrow and I'm going to go at 10am and see if I can leave a deposit for one. Ill let everyone know tomorrow once I get there.

The Orange store is taking preorders/layaway on the PSA stripped lowers. The guy on the phone told me that they are expecting 3,000. Curiously, they have notices posted in the stores that they aren't doing preorders. I went in to order two, and left after buying three

Plus, I talked my best friend into getting one, his first.

As per my thread over in the Turners sub forum, when I was at the Torrance location on Thursday they were taking pre-orders on a supposed shipment of 3,000 PSA lowers coming in next week.

It would be great if this were true, but 10k lowers? Even 3k seems high to me. I can't imagine Turners has enough pull to convince PSA to ship that many to one vendor... 100? maybe a few hundred, but if it seems to good to be true...

10,000 lowers, maybe not. But 3000 is doable, turners has 15 stores, distributed amongst is only 200 lowers per. And the way things are going that's nothing!

Good luck getting any kind of LPK to finish them if you do get them. Those seem to be perpetually in shorter supply than lowers.
