Default white creamy stuff coming out of my boresnake

Just finished cleaning my New Ruger 10/22 before I take it to the range for the first time and I used my new Hoppes boresnake. I am currently cleaning it and I noticed when I squeeze the snake this white paste like substance comes out. What the heck is this crap? Is my boresnake popping its own zits?
